EXCEEDS EVEN THE HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS!! Wow where do I start... First off my now Husband and I were planning this from Virginia and had never met and only spoke on the phone until we finally met at the rehearsal. We felt like we have known Ed practically our whole lives, and guests of the wedding would have never guessed otherwise. He goes above and beyond in every possible aspect. The thing that we and all our guests were shocked by was that he stayed for the entire reception videotaping, making sure he didn't miss a thing. Finding someone on here on short noticed made me extremely nervous, being that it is such a huge deal, but Ed was absolutely perfect and we couldn't be more thankful to have him as our Officiant. I could write an essay about how great this man was, but just know that if you hire him, you will not be disappointed in the least!

You took a lot of your personal time to ensure we felt comfortable and everything was perfect for us from visiting us at our home and getting acquainted with the location and flow of the wedding to taking the time to practice our vows with us before the ceremony and attending our rehearsal. We also appreciate that you let us customize the ceremony to incorporate what was important to us, including reading vows that we chose & personalized, as opposed to trying to making us pick from vows you provided; not all officiants allow couples to so. Ed, Kayla and I could not have imagined a better person to officiate our wedding! We really wanted our vows to feel very personal and special, and wanted to feel comfortable saying them in front of our guests. You made that incredibly easy for us, by giving us many different ideas and examples for inspiration and offering us suggestions and help from your experience. Although we had not known you very long, we felt at ease with you at our first meeting and just got more comfortable from there. You made a huge effort to get to know our friends and family, and felt more like a family friend than someone we hired to marry us. You offered to help with anything we needed at any time, and came through whenever we needed you . You had a great attitude the whole time, and helped us stay calm and stress free the whole weekend. We could not give you a higher rating, or recommend you more enthusiastically to anyone looking for a wedding officiant, and who knows, maybe you'll even be marrying our kids one day (if you're not retired). Thank you so much for being a part of the most special day of our lives, we couldn't have done it without you, literally.We looked for several officiants online… and were very leery. We wanted a person we could develop a relationship with that was normal and professional & personal. That is exactly what Ed provided for us. He is like our new best friend. He was so kind, helpful and engaging. He helped us write our own vows incorporating our 2 sons from previous relationships. We did a blended family ceremony – joining hands in a circle of love. We made promises to our sons, and they accepted. Our friends and family said it was the most beautiful and intimate ceremony they have ever seen. We could not have done that without Ed’s help and the 60+ emails to make everything come together! He also gave us a video, keepsake vows & marriage certificate for our scrapbook. Perfect package! I think we will always stay in touch – he is a special part of our life now, and we couldn’t be happier! We highly recommend him.

"We were a little apprehensive in choosing someone to perform our wedding. We'd been to enough weddings to know what we 'didn't' want but it was hard to pin down the characteristics of an individual to fill our particular needs. Those needs were a person that didn't put themselves in the spotlight; a person that balanced the religious aspects of a wedding with the desire of the participants; a person that would fit in and be embraced by our friends. Impossible!! Wrong. We lucked out. We took a chance on Ed. From the minute he arrived, he was a delight. There was not a trace of importance or ego about him. Our friends engaged him. He had a good time. The ceremony couldn't have been better. Ed made everyone feel the emotion of the event while dealing with our individual requests. At the conclusion of the ceremony, as many people sought him out for congratulations as they did us. As far as a rating from one to five on his job satisfaction index...five isn't enough.

Picking the person to marry us was a very important aspect for Scott and I. We came across Ed's website and after reading his decription, I immediately felt like we had found a candidate. I e-mailed Ed to get a better sense of who he was. From the first moment of contact, he was more than helpful. He continued to be this way all the way through to and past our wedding date. Ed always gave us timely responses and reassured us he was happy to help us. He also provided little extras like articles to help us with the process of writing our own vows and samples of what other people had done. He also video taped our ceremony, which I don't think others do. As soon as the wedding was over, I already had a follow up message with information on how to change my name!! Ed really went above and beyond to make our ceremony perfect for how we wanted it. We couldn't have chosen a better person to marry us. Thanks for everything Ed!!!!
